Cookie policy.
Cookies are small files that help the site work and help us understand how it's used. Here are the details, without unnecessary technical jargon.
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website stores on your browser when you visit. It remembers information about your visit, such as your language preference or your cookie consent decision. The regulations applicable to this policy are the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD) and Law 34/2002 (LSSI-CE), as well as the guidelines of the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).
2. Types of cookies we use
By purpose
- Necessary: essential for the site to work and to remember your consent decision. They cannot be disabled.
- Analytics with consent: help us understand how the site is used to improve it. Only enabled if you accept them in the banner.
- Cookieless analytics (anonymous): we measure traffic in a fully anonymous way, without cookies or personal identifiers. They do not require consent (see section 5).
By owner
- First-party: managed by the site itself.
- Third-party: managed by external entities providing services to our site (e.g. analytics tools).
By duration
- Session: deleted when you close your browser.
- Persistent: remain for a defined period (see section 3).
3. Detail of cookies used
Below we detail each cookie or storage technology used, including its exact name, purpose, type and duration:
| Name | Purpose | Type | Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
dobler_cookies_v1 |
Stores your cookie consent decision. Saved in localStorage, not a traditional cookie. | Necessary · First-party | 12 months |
_ga (only if analytics accepted) |
Distinguishes unique users by assigning an anonymous identifier. Service: Google Analytics 4. | Analytics · Third-party | 2 years |
_ga_4RF2TFXW0K (only if analytics accepted) |
Maintains Google Analytics 4 session state for this specific property. | Analytics · Third-party | 2 years |
Note: if you reject analytics cookies in the banner, the _ga and _ga_4RF2TFXW0K cookies are not installed in your browser. Google Analytics remains loaded but in a blocked state (see section 4).
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google's Consent Mode v2. This means Google Analytics is loaded on every page but starts in a "consent denied by default" state. In that state:
- No
_gaor_ga_4RF2TFXW0Kcookies are installed in your browser. - No personal data or identifiers that could recognise you are collected.
- Google may receive anonymous, aggregated signals (no cookies, no fingerprinting) about total visit volumes. This is known as "consent modelling".
If you accept in the banner, the state changes to "granted" and Google Analytics begins to operate in standard mode, installing the cookies listed above. Full technical details in the official Google Consent Mode documentation.
5. Cookieless anonymous analytics (Umami)
We also use Umami Analytics (umami.is) to measure basic traffic metrics in a fully anonymous way. Unlike Google Analytics, Umami:
- Does not install cookies on your browser.
- Does not collect personal data or persistent unique identifiers.
- Does not share data with third parties for advertising purposes.
- Only records aggregated information: pages visited, approximate country (country level only, not city), browser and device type.
In accordance with guidelines from the Spanish AEPD and the European Data Protection Board (EDPB), strictly anonymous analytics that do not install cookies or allow re-identification are exempt from the prior consent requirement. That is why Umami is active on all visits, including when you reject the cookies in the banner.
If you still prefer not to be counted by Umami, you can opt out by emailing Casaruraldoble.r@gmail.com and we will block your IP in the panel. You can also use your browser's "Do Not Track" (DNT) feature, which Umami respects automatically.
6. International data transfers
If you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics may transfer data to servers located in the United States. This transfer is carried out under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, to which Google LLC has adhered and which has been recognised by the European Commission as an adequate transfer mechanism (Adequacy Decision of 10 July 2023).
Umami Cloud operates with servers in the European Union (Frankfurt, Germany) and, as it does not collect personal data, does not carry out international transfers of identifiable data.
7. How to manage cookies
When you visit the site for the first time, a banner shows two main options:
- Accept: enables analytics cookies.
- Reject: only strictly necessary cookies are loaded.
You can change your decision at any time from the "Manage cookies" link in the footer of every page.
From your browser
You can also configure or delete cookies directly in your browser:
Note: if you block all cookies at browser level, some site functions (such as remembering your consent decision) may not work correctly.
8. Your rights
As a user, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, object to, restrict and port the personal data we process about you. Full details on how to exercise these rights are in our Privacy Policy.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect technical, regulatory or tooling changes. The last review date appears at the top of this document. We recommend reviewing it periodically.
