There is one part of booking that hardly anyone talks about until the last minute: how you pay. And yet it is often what decides whether someone books or leaves it for tomorrow. At Doble-R we keep it simple: we accept Bizum, bank transfer and Bitcoin. A small deposit holds your dates, and you pay the rest whichever way suits you best.
Bizum: the fastest way to lock in your dates
If you have a Spanish bank account
If you bank in Spain, Bizum is the easiest way to pay the deposit for a rural house in Ronda. There is nothing to sign up for, no long IBAN to copy and no waiting for a bank to process a transfer: you do it from your banking app while we chat on WhatsApp.
That has a practical advantage that matters more than it seems in high season: your dates are locked in instantly. In July and August, or on a long bank-holiday weekend, confirming in two minutes rather than two days is often the difference between getting the house or not.
Bank transfer
To have everything paid before you arrive
A bank transfer is the classic way and still one of the most practical. It works both for the deposit and for paying the rest of your stay before you arrive, so on the day all you need to think about is parking and your first swim.
It is also the natural choice if you are booking from outside Spain: the UK, France, Germany, the Netherlands… Within the euro area, a SEPA transfer usually arrives in one or two working days and many banks don't charge for it. From outside the euro area, check your bank's fees before sending it.
Bitcoin: yes, you can pay for your stay in crypto
Something almost no rural house in the Serranía offers
This is the part that surprises people most: at Doble-R we accept Bitcoin as a payment method. Not as a gimmick, but because more and more travellers hold part of their savings in crypto and appreciate being able to spend it on something real — like a few days of quiet in the Serranía de Ronda.
It works simply: the amount is calculated in euros, exactly as for any other guest, and converted at the exchange rate at the time of payment. Tell us when you book, we send you the details for the transfer and, once confirmed, your reservation is closed just like with Bizum or a bank transfer.

Why paying direct works out better
The 15-25% that gets lost along the way
When you book through a big platform, a significant part of what you pay never reaches the house: it goes on commissions, service fees and margins that are rarely shown in detail. Depending on the case, the difference is between 15% and 25%.

Deposit and done
You send a small deposit by Bizum, bank transfer or Bitcoin and the dates are yours. The rest: before you come or on arrival, whichever you prefer.
Three ways to pay, zero hassle
If you bank in Spain and want to book right away, Bizum. If you'd rather have everything paid before you come, or you're booking from abroad, bank transfer. And if you hold crypto and fancy spending it on something you'll enjoy, Bitcoin. In all three cases: same price, same house, same private pool with views over the Serranía.
The one thing that doesn't change is our usual advice: book direct. It's cheaper and, when you have a question, a person answers.
